Ventura College sophomore Olivia Burton clocked 19:21.6 to win the women's 5-kilometer race at the Southern California Community College Cross Country Championships at Mission Bay Park in San Diego, Calif. Burton became the first regional champion for Ventura, which finished seventh with 213 points.
