Ventura College sophomores Brieanna Tafoya and Olivia Burton finished second and third in the women's 5-kilometer race at the California Community College Athletic Association Southern California preview meet at Mission Bay Park in San Diego. Tafoya clocked 19:25.7 and Burton ran 19:31.2 for Ventura, which finished second place behind Glendale Community College by a 38-100 margin.
